For our fourth family reunion, we converged on the Tigh-Na-Mara Resort in the small town of Parksville, BC on Vancouver Island. It was an adventure just getting there for many, with people taking ferrys from Seattle, Vancouver, and Port Angeles or having unexpected flight changes along the way. Once on the island, we wasted no time, jumping into activities such as spelunking, mountain biking, sea kayaking, scuba diving, horseback riding, golfing, fishing, touring Butchart Gardens, the beaches and rain forests, and shopping and sightseeing around the area in Victoria, Nanaimo, and other towns around the island.
